ReadVault ("we", "us") is a read-later app that saves articles you choose into your own private library. This policy explains what information ReadVault handles, why, and the choices you have. In short: ReadVault works without an account, we don't show ads, we don't track you, and we never sell your data.

ReadVault（以下简称「我们」）是一款稍后读应用，帮你把选中的文章收进自己的私人文库。本政策说明 ReadVault 处理哪些信息、为什么处理，以及你有哪些选择。简单来说：不注册也能用，我们不投放广告、不追踪你，也绝不出售你的数据。

1. Information We Collect

If you don't sign in: your library (saved links, article content, collections, highlights and notes) is stored only on your device. We receive none of it. When you save a link, your device loads that web page directly from its website to extract the article, just like opening it in a browser; that website handles the visit under its own privacy policy.

If you sign in with Apple to back up and sync your library, we receive and store:

• Account identifier: the stable, app-specific user ID that Sign in with Apple provides, and your name if you choose to share it. We do not request your email address.
• Your library: saved links, titles, authors, excerpts, a copy of each article's text, formatting and images (so it stays readable even if the original page disappears), read status, collections, highlights, notes, and the times these were created, changed or deleted.

Technical data: when the app talks to our server, our hosting provider processes your IP address and basic request information (such as time and response status) to deliver the service and protect it from abuse.

Share extension: when you share to ReadVault from another app, it reads only the link or text you chose to share.

Clipboard: when you open ReadVault it asks iOS only whether the clipboard looks like a web link, without reading it. The clipboard is read only when you tap the Paste button to save that link, and it is not stored or sent anywhere else.

We do not use analytics or advertising SDKs, and we do not collect your contacts, location, photos or browsing history.

1. 我们收集的信息

不登录时：你的文库（收藏的链接、文章内容、书签集、高亮和笔记）只保存在你的设备上，我们收不到任何内容。保存链接时，你的设备会像浏览器一样直接从对应网站加载该网页以提取正文，网站方按其自身的隐私政策处理这次访问。

使用 Apple 登录以备份和同步文库时，我们会接收并保存：

• 账号标识：「通过 Apple 登录」提供的、仅用于本应用的固定用户 ID；如果你选择提供，还包括你的姓名。我们不索取你的电子邮箱。
• 你的文库：收藏的链接、标题、作者、摘要、每篇文章正文、排版和图片的副本（这样即使原网页消失也能继续阅读）、已读状态、书签集、高亮、笔记，以及它们的创建、修改和删除时间。

技术数据：App 与我们的服务器通信时，托管服务商会处理你的 IP 地址和基本请求信息（如时间、响应状态），用于提供服务和防止滥用。

分享扩展：你从其他 App 分享到 ReadVault 时，它只读取你选择分享的链接或文字。

剪贴板：打开 ReadVault 时，它只向 iOS 询问剪贴板里是否像是一个网页链接，并不读取内容。只有你点了「粘贴」按钮保存该链接时才会读取剪贴板，读取的内容不会另作保存或发送到别处。

我们没有使用任何统计或广告 SDK，也不收集你的通讯录、位置、照片或浏览记录。

2. How We Use Your Information

• To sign you in and keep your session secure.
• To store your library and sync it across the devices you sign in on.
• To keep the service running, fix problems and prevent abuse.

We do not use your library for advertising or profiling, and we do not use it to train AI models.

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell or share your personal information for advertising. We use Cloudflare, Inc. to host our server and database; it processes data only on our behalf to provide the service. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the service.

4. Where Your Information Is Processed

Synced data is stored in a Cloudflare database and Cloudflare R2 storage located in the United States and is transmitted over Cloudflare's global network. By signing in, you understand that your information is transferred to and processed in the United States.

5. How Long We Keep It

We keep your synced library for as long as your account exists. When you delete an item, its content is removed from our server at the next sync; we keep only its random ID and deletion time so the deletion reaches your other devices. When you delete your account, everything is deleted immediately. Request logs are kept only briefly by our hosting provider.

6. Security

All traffic between the app and our server is encrypted with HTTPS. Your session token is stored in the iOS Keychain, and every request is checked so that an account can only read and write its own data. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict its processing. You can edit or delete any item in the app at any time. For other requests, contact us at the address below; we will respond within the time required by applicable law.

8. Deleting Your Account and Data

In the app, go to Me → Delete Account. This immediately and permanently deletes your account and everything synced to it from our server. The copy of your library on your device stays until you delete it or remove the app. You can also stop using Sign in with Apple for ReadVault in your Apple ID settings.

在 App 中进入「我的 → 注销账号」，即可立即、永久删除你的账号及服务器上同步的全部数据。设备上的文库副本会保留，直到你手动删除或卸载 App。你也可以在 Apple ID 设置中停止对 ReadVault 使用「通过 Apple 登录」。

9. Tracking

ReadVault does not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and does not use advertising identifiers.

10. Children's Privacy

ReadVault is not directed to children under 13 (or under 14 in mainland China), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

ReadVault 不面向 13 周岁以下儿童（中国大陆为 14 周岁以下），我们不会在知情的情况下收集其个人信息。如你认为有儿童向我们提供了信息，请联系我们，我们会予以删除。

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the effective date; for material changes we will also notify you in the app.
